Functional Cream & Wood Kitchen in Stratford

This project, completed in Stratford, Ontario in 2026, is a perfect example of how thoughtful design can transform both functionality and everyday experience.

Our clients — a wonderful couple who own a boutique hotel and catering business — needed a spacious, highly functional kitchen tailored to their professional lifestyle. Their previous kitchen lacked sufficient workspace, felt dark, and did not support their daily needs.

We designed a clean, European-style kitchen with a strong focus on functionality, efficiency, and comfort. The result is a bright, minimalistic, handleless space that feels calm, organized, and easy to use.

One of the key features of this project is the extended countertop area — over 7 meters in total, including a 3-meter section with an increased depth of 90 cm, providing generous workspace for cooking and preparation.

For the countertop, we selected premium Italian HPL from Puricelli, combining durability with refined aesthetics. The cabinetry features a beautiful combination of Cream Soft Touch fronts and warm wood textures, creating a soft, elegant, and inviting atmosphere.

All materials were thoughtfully selected for both their visual appeal and tactile experience — every surface feels rich, textured, and inviting to the touch..

The kitchen is equipped with high-quality Blum hardware systems, ensuring smooth, silent operation. Additional thoughtful details include integrated lighting in the lower drawers that activates upon opening, and a hidden coffee station concealed behind lift-up cabinetry — keeping the space clean and uncluttered.

Designed around the clients’ professional and personal needs, this kitchen is both highly practical and visually refined.
